Launch of new high end eco sustainable bamboo building products at HIA Sydney Home Show
The Australian market will have the opportunity to experience the remarkable versatility of bamboo as a building product, when an exciting and environmentally sustainable bamboo mono-stringer staircase and beam are launched by Logan Leigh at the HIA Sydney Home Show, 28-31 May 2015.
Logan Leigh have been a supplier to the kitchen & joinery industry for over 30 years and in recent years have been supplying bamboo benchtops up to 4.2 metres in length, Australia wide.
Founding owner of Logan Leigh, David Embury always believed that the natural eco-friendly material dubbed ‘green steel’ had even more potential as a building product. In conjunction with Newcastle University Engineering Testing facility, Logan Leigh has developed a bamboo structural beam.
On the back of this development has evolved Australia’s first bamboo mono-stringer staircase which utilises Logan Leigh’s bamboo stair treads, bamboo beam and patented steel bracket system.
Logan Leigh will also be expanding their bamboo product range to include a beautiful and unique range of bamboo bathtubs.
These exciting products will all be showcased at the Sydney Home Show, at Stand G39, Sydney Showground Exhibition Building, Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush.
